Two Island Lake
looking for an exciting riding adventure?

On the first day on Teepee Heart ranch we introduce you to the horses and saddle up for your first ride to
discover the surroundings where you will come across the wilderness for the first time. This is an excellent opportunity to
stretch out riding abilities and to build your confidence in our Tennessee Walker horses.
The next day we break up early and a long day- ride takes us through magnificent fir forests to the superbly situated
mountain lake.  Tents or a  rustic log cabin is our base camp for the next few days.
We explore Anvil Mountains and Groundhog Creek Valley on horseback. On our day's ride to Sherwood Lake
the rainbow trout are waiting for us – the record of  53 cm is still to be broken. During a day’s rest for the horses,
we investigate the surroundings near the lake, take photographs, hike and- if we are lucky- observe moose, deer,
coyotes, wolves and even… bears.
When the weather is good, we might even swim in the lake with the horses. A canoe for exploring the lake is tight up
at the landing stage.
It is the seeing of a new part of the country and spectacular views of a still untouched nature.
